Levi Quilt GURRR....

Okay so i have been trying to make this levi quilt for some time now. i was going to give it to shane for christmas... that didnt happen so i made it a goal to have it ready by valentines day. so im crossing my fingers that it will go as planned. Heres how the story goes.....

i started in like october starting to put the peices together and trying to find old jeans to use. it all started out fine. then i ran out of jeans. so i forget about it for a while then comes november. my sister had some jeans so then i cut and pinned them all together {which is the biggest pain ever} but then i ran out of pins.... so i started sowing them all together. im not a very straight sower either which doesnt help. but long story short our sowing machine breaks in december so that puts a damper on things. i decide its not going to be done before christmas so i started back up again a couple of weeks ago and have all the jeans together.oh and we ended up trading our machine in this week because it kept breaking. now we have a great machine that lets you sow more then a foot at a time. so now all i need to do is sow the back on and tie it. and it will be a peice of cake compared to the other 3 month project haha wish me luck. ill post pictures of the final peice:]

Oh and the little smile face guy is from my ninth grade year shane drew it on a pair of my pants and when those pants ripped i was so sad so i cut it out and kept it. i used it as a patch cant get more custome then that:]
